About
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”
Oceana was drawn into the world of natural healing by the loving re-discovery of foraging medicines from the earth - the plants, herbs & fungi that grow in abundance all around - and with encouragement from loved ones that acknowledged this deep connection with the natural world.
During her years of study, Oceana worked at the nationally-recognised herbothacry Neal’s Yard Remedies in Bristol. This elevated her professional experience and complimented with additional learning in aromatherapy and herbal medicine.
Oceana endorses a mindset of reciprocity and has experience in herbal medicine charity work and volunteering on organic farms.
Oceana is also a keen fungi fanatic and has undertaken her own deep dives in growing, foraging & making products with these deeply medicinal and ancient allies. In 2023 Oceana attended the UK’s 7th Medicinal Mushroom Conference, led by world-leading experts in the field of all things mycelial.
